Football kickers was founded in 2015 at Jalandhar (Punjab) by Warundeep (MD). Warun deep has represented india in Football at international and club level. When he retired from international games , he wanted his son to follow the same but could not find any good facility, coach or a ground to start with. So for the betterment of the youth who wants to play football for various reasons he started his own academy with international standards. It was a recipe for success. Warundeep focused on building a brand around “fun first” making sure he worked with experts in child development as well as AIFF qualified football coaches. Together they created programmes that would deliver high quality football skills, combined with important football learning concepts such as colour and number recognition, sharing, following instructions and using imagination.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a global framework for non- formal education, which challenges young people aged 14-24 to dream big, celebrate their achievements and make a difference in their world. The award is divided into four sections: Voluntary service, Skills, Physical recreation and adventurous journey. The opportunity to give voluntary service over an extended period of time enables young people to witness and experience the benefits that their service provides to others and encourages them to become more active, engaged citizens. The Skills section provides the opportunity for a participant either to improve on an existing skill, or to try something new. Encouraging healthy behaviours has benefits not only for participants but also for their communities, whether through improved health, or active participation in team activities. The Adventurous Journey section encourages a sense of adventure and self-discovery whilst undertaking a journey within a group.
